⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently dined at Maharaja Indian Restaurant in Plano and had an excellent experience. The food was flavorful, authentic, and prepared with great attention to detail. The menu offers a wide variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, making it easy for everyone in our group to find something they enjoyed. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed, making it a great place for both family dinners and casual meals with friends. The naan was fresh, the curries were rich and well-seasoned, and the portions were generous. It’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in maintaining authentic Indian flavors while providing consistent quality. If you’re looking for authentic North Indian cuisine in the Plano area, I would definitely recommend giving Maharaja a try. I’ll certainly be returning.

We had the lunch buffet at Maharaj today and were very impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options and everything tasted fresh. The restaurant was spotless, and the service was excellent. Our water glasses were constantly refilled, and they brought fresh, hot naan to our table, which was a wonderful touch. The owner was incredibly sweet and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Overall, a fantastic dining experience, and we'll definitely be back!

I've totally lost control keeping the count on how many times I've been here, but every single time I come, I really enjoy being at this restaurant because of the relaxed and quiet atmosphere it surrounds it. It makes me feel I'm eating at home with a soft and mellow music being played on the background and the lights semi dimmed. The food: it's fantastic, amazing and healthy! A lot of flavors involved across each single dish. The owners: excellent human beings! They are marvelous and lovely. The staff: very friendly and respectful.

My husband and I stopped by for dinner. Place is cozy, the service was great and the food was amazing!! The sauces at the beginning are so good. I got the chicken tikka masala and my husband got the lamb tanduri; I HIGHLY recommend to get. The vegetable samosas and garlic naan are 10/10!!

Not worth the price. Had very few items in buffet. Chicken tikka masala was loaded with crushed peanuts to save on cashews. Goat curry was the only good item. Rest of veggies items were plain like home made taste. Weren't restaurant taste. Also the price they give on phone with tax etc makes you feel they are transparent but they have hidden 1$ fee if paying with card. Price they give on phone is "cash only" price so beware. Staff and owner are very friendly. Interior looks good with cultural pictures. Hence giving 2 stars or its a 1 star for food alone.
